What to Expect on the Day

During the consultation we will decide together whether the procedure is to address the labia majora, the labia minora or a combination of both – however, treating the inner lips is more common. The surgery will involve making an cut in the labia: along the labia, by making a v-shape or by trimming skin and tissue from the surface of the labia. This will enable the right amount of skin and tissue to be removed in order to reduce the amount of .

Full recovery from labiaplasty takes around 6 to 8 weeks, with swelling continuing to improve over several months.

Showering After a Labiaplasty
